2023-2024 George R. Mather Sunday Lecture Series

The History Center is proud to announce the presenters for the 2023-2024 George R. Mather Sunday Lecture Series. All lectures are held at 2pm at the History Center and are free to the public. All George R. Mather lectures are made possible through the generous support of the Floyd and Betty Lou Lancia Family Foundation.
The History Center will begin the George R. Mather Sunday Lecture Series on Sunday, October 1. “Enduring Impact: The Foellinger Family in Fort Wayne,” will be presented by David Bennett and Matt Kelley. With the extraordinary life story of Helene Foellinger at its center, this lecture will share the enduring, positive impact the Foellinger family has made on Allen County, and demonstrate the unique and irreplaceable importance of individual philanthropy. The lecture will include a behind-the-scenes look at the production of the documentary film about the Foellinger family, "An Influence for Good."
