HOWE, IN - More than six state troopers pulled over a semi last Friday on the toll road in LaGrange County.

An eyewitness told The Elkhart Truth there were about eight officers with guns drawn, cuffing the driver. More officers arrived. Two others got out of the truck and the rig was searched.

A state police spokesman said it began with a 911 call, but Troopers later learned the situation was not as serious as police had believed.

One person was arrested for being in possession of a handgun without a permit.
