S.R. 427 Closing for Drainage Pipe Replacements

DEKALB COUNTY - The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced the closure of State Road 427 between Waterloo and Hamilton.

Work will start on or after May 3rd and last approximately 3 weeks.

Crews will replace drainage pipes in several locations between the two towns. During the closure, drivers should use the posted detour of State Road 1 and U.S. 6.

Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution, and drive distraction-free in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
