LAGRANGE – Charges have been filed against a LaGrange County man for allegedly abusing a girl for two years.

The LaGrange County Sheriff's Office says they started an investigation in April into 73 year old Stanley Myers Sr., who allegedly had child pornography in his possession and for sexual misconduct with a minor. Detectives found out a girl had been living with Myers on and off since 2019.

According to investigators, the girl was almost 14 years old when the abuse began, and it happened on an almost daily business. Police also found photos of underage children on his telephone.

Myers is being held in the LaGrange County Jail on charges of possession of child pornography and sexual misconduct with a minor.
