FREMONT, IN - Satek Winery of Fremont is celebrating 20 years of business.

Satek Winery was the first winery in northeast Indiana and the 19th winery in 2001. Indiana now has more than 120 wineries.

Satek Winery is the product of a couple, Larry Satek, a PhD chemist and his wife Pam, a former school principal.

Satek Winery is the defending Indy International Governor's Cup winner for Winery of the Year.
As part of their birthday celebration, they will give away free wine glasses with every two bottle purchases from Friday July 2nd until Sunday July 11th as they have done since 2002.

The winery is open 361 days of the year and offers free tasting with proper ID.
