Cops Cycling for Survivors Foundation Ride Starts Monday; They Hit Angola Tuesday

INDIANA - The Cops Cycling for Survivors Foundation will begin their annual fundraiser bike ride today, Monday, July 12th.

The bike ride will last for thirteen days and cover 972 miles as police and community members cycle to raise money for scholarships, camps, and events held in memory of officers killed in the line of duty.

It all begins at the Police and Fire Fighters Memorial on the capitol grounds in downtown Indianapolis.

The group will cycle through the Angola area July 14th, and depart Angola for the South Bend on July 15th.

Bicyclist with the fundraiser will have a police escort as they travel from place to place throughout the Hoosier state. Motorists are asked to be extra careful when passing.
