INDIANA Awards Over $428,000 to Support Recent High School Graduates

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Commission for Higher Education, in partnership with the Indiana Department of Education utilized federal CARES Act funding to award $428,973 to 20 college, university and community partners to support the high school graduating class of 2021 as they transition to college.

The Learning Support Grant aims to help recent graduates who may have experienced learning loss due to school closures and the transition to online learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The grant will support collaborative efforts that focus on preparing students to be successful in college, especially those who are most vulnerable to learning loss

Locally, Trine University received $24,999.00.
