WATERLOO, IN – A teen driver has been arrested with charges of a minor consuming alcohol after crashing into a Waterloo field with two passengers in the car.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department has identified 18-year-old Summer Restle of Garrett as the driver a 2004 Ford Taurus southbound on County Road 27 in the 1400 block early Sunday morning when she attempted to turn east onto County Road 14 at a high rate of speed. Following the accident, Restle was reportedly arrested on charges of a minor consuming alcohol.
