ANGOLA, IN - Angola-based Eva-Lution has been acquired by Precision Edge Surgical Products Co. in Michigan.

Precision Edge specializes in the contract manufacturing of orthopedic and medical device instruments. The company says the acquisition of the 60,000-square-foot Angola facility will support their continued growth in a geographical area known for orthopedic original equipment manufacturers.

Precision Edge says the acquisition will also accelerate its implant manufacturing capabilities.

Precision Edge operates a second Michigan manufacturing site in Boyne City.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
