(ELKHART) – Minor injuries were reported in a three vehicle accident.

The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office says 61 year old Elizabeth Pope of Elkhart was driving east n County Road 6, near the intersection of County Road 11 just after 5 PM Friday.

A second vehicle, driven by 29 year old Amanda Wilmore of Elkhart was stopped at the intersection because of a red light. A third vehicle, operated by 59 year old Jeffrey Helbing of Bristol, was stopped in front of Wilmore.

Deputies say Pope was following took closely and crashed into the back of Wilmore, who then struck the back of Helbing's vehicle.

Pope, Wilmore and Helbing were not injured. A passenger in Helbing's vehicle, 53 year old Lisa Helbing, complained of back pain, and was taken to Elkhart General Hospital.
