ANGOLA, IN - Employees of Steuben County will be getting some extra money in their pockets.

The Steuben County Council approved giving county employees 5% raises across the board.

In addition, employee appreciation bonuses of $1,000 per full-time employee will be given. A smaller amount will given to part-time employees was approved this week.

The bonuses will be paid with funds the county has from the American Rescue Plan Act money approved by Congress in 2021.
