ANGOLA, IN - Businesses in and around Steuben County will have the opportunity to help celebrate National Manufacturing Day and highlight their companies offerings.

On Friday, October 7th, from 9 am to 2 pm, the Steuben County Economic Development Corporation will be hosting their annual Made in Steuben event. It will take place at their facilities, located at 907 South Wayne Street, in Angola.

This is an expo style event designed to showcase what local manufacturers make, how they impact the community and world, local career paths and training or educational opportunities.

Organizers say the event is catered to area high school students to encourage local career exploration and make connections to local employers. Reportedly, about 80 area high school students are scheduled to attend this year.

There is no cost to attend.
