BUTLER, IN - Emergency crews responded to a Butler location Thursday morning after a report of a semi-truck that drove into a home.

Reports indicate the truck was traveling westbound on West Main Street (S.R. 6) when it hit two parked cars.

The truck then went off the road and barreled into a home in the 400 block of West Main Street, near S&J’s Fireworks and Commerce Street.

Luckily, no one was inside the home at the time of the crash. The semi driver only sustained minor injuries.

Authorities say they believe the driver crashed because of fatigue.

The road had to be shut down to one lane for a short time Thursday as crews worked to remove the truck.
