BRONSON, Mich. - A fire took place in rural Bronson on Monday, November 13.

WLKI's News Team received reports at approximately 6 p.m. of a large field fire north of U.S. 12 on N. Parham Road.

The fire was reported to be near the area of the, "cement pond."

Reports stated the fire was burning in the marsh and access was limited due to the terrain, but authorities were keeping it contained to prevent spreading to area houses or farm buildings.

Mutual aid has allegedly been called in to assist Bronson from Kinderhook, Coldwater, Sturgis and Orland but was later call off.
