Over $82K Raised For WLKI's Holiday Pie Auction To Benefit Cops For Kids

ANGOLA - The WLKI Holiday Pie Auction to support Steuben County's Cops for Kids raised over $82,000.

In total, the pie auction raised $82,855.05 with just over 100 pies.

Angola Detective Mike Wood said the total is the highest ever raised in the history of Steuben County's Cops for Kids event.

The highest bid pie was #105 Vestil Manufacturing's Snickerdoodle Cream Cheese Apple Pie sold to, "Victorious Vestil," for $17,035.

Local law enforcement agencies will take children from around Steuben County shopping at Angola's Meijer on December 7.

Last year, $67,000 was raised during the event and distributed among 166 kids from 66 families.
