JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A police pursuit that started in Northern Indiana came to an end in Southern Michigan.

Cass County Sheriff Richard Behnke says at 3:20 AM Friday, his department was notified by the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department that they were in pursuit of a vehicle believed to be driven by a suspect involved in a domestic incident.

The suspect came into Cass County near Edwardsburg, and then went into Jefferson Township. It ended a short time later after the suspect vehicle went over stop sticks which deflated the suspect’s tires.
