Two Suspects Arrested In Branch County Break In

(CALIFORNIA TOWNSHIP) – Authorities say two suspects have been arrested in connection with a break in, and the search is on for the third individual.
Michigan State Police were sent to a house in the 1000 block of State Line Road in Branch County’s California Township on Tuesday on the report of a breaking and entering that happened at 9 PM on Monday.
Tips and leads were received and three suspects along with a suspect vehicle were developed. The suspects were a 47 year old Coldwater man, a 49 year old Coldwater man and a 46 year old Coldwater woman. The vehicle in question was a 2003 Ford F-150 pick up that was dark blue.
Troopers located the 49 year old man and the woman living out of a camper in the area of Willowbrook Road and White Drive. They were arrested and taken to the Branch County Jail on multiple warrants as well as charges of breaking and entering and possession of stolen property. A considerable amount of stolen property has been recovered.
Their names have not been released pending arraignment in Branch County District Court.
Authorities are still searching for the 47 year old man.
Drug use is a suspected factor in this matter.
