Coldwater Woman Not Injured In Two Vehicle Collision

(DEKALB COUNTY) – A Coldwater woman was not injured in a two vehicle collision in Northeast Indiana.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department says 69 year old Jackie Faulkner of Terre Haute was driving south on I-69 near the 326 Mile Marker at 11:47 AM Tuesday. She told deputies she was reaching for a drink in her passenger seat and didn’t see the vehicle in front her had slowed down due to traffic.
Faulkner struck the vehicle, driven by 66 year old Lisa Burrows of Coldwater, then came to rest on the west shoulder of the highway. Burrows’ vehicle was pushed to the west shoulder of the road and stopped.
Burrows was not injured in the collision. Faulkner complained of neck and chest pain and was transported to an area hospital.
Assisting deputies were the Auburn Fire Department and Parkview EMS.
