Bronson Schools Fill Positions With Familiar Names

(BRONSON) – Two people very familiar with Bronson Schools have been hired to fill a pair of vacancies in the District.

Monday night, the Bronson Board of Education voted to hire Daniel McMichael to be the new Bronson Jr./Sr. High School Dean of Students and Trevor Ferry as the District Safety and Security Liaison Director.

McMichael is a 2016 graduate of Bronson High School. He then graduated from Adrian College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies and English Education. He also received a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University.

McMichael has been a social studies teacher and a baseball coach a Bronson High School.

Ferry graduated from Bronson High School in 2005 and then from Western Michigan University in 2009.

Previously, Ferry served as a Resident Coordinator with the Kalamazoo Probation Enhancement Program, located in Battle Creek. He also worked for a time for Children Protective Services and as a probation and parole agent.
