(COLDWATER) – A Branch County man’s case is moving forward.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel says on Thursday, 46 year old Anthony Cuyler had his case bound over to Branch County Circuit Court. He is facing three counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct; one count of delivery of methamphetamine to a minor; one count of possession of methamphetamine; and one count of possession of ammunition by a felon.

The Branch County Prosecutor’s Office charged Cuyler in 2019 for alleged sexual assaults against two girls ages 11 and 12; and for allegedly providing them with methamphetamine. He fled Michigan, and evaded authorities for several years until information was received that he may be in Mexico. His extradition was conducted by the U.S. Marshals Service, who arrested Cuyler in March.

Nessel’s office will prosecute this case. Cuyler will be back in court on August 12 at 2:30 PM. He is being held without bond in the Branch County Jail.
