(CENTREVILLE) – Resources are available for St. Joseph County residents impacted by the tornadoes and storms that moved through the area on May 7.
St. Joseph County Undersheriff Jason Bingaman and Emergency Management Director Erin Goff says the U.S. Small Business Administration issued a disaster declaration for the May 2024 tornado event that impacted the county. This is separate from any other declaration and is specific to Kalamazoo County, with residents of St. Joseph, Cass and Branch Counties also eligible to apply.
The SBA resources include a variety of low interest disaster loans.
Bingaman says you can apply online and receive additional disaster assistance information by going online. Click Here.
Applicants may also call the SBA’s Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955.
