The Garrett Lady Railroaders avenged a Northeast Corner Conference tournament and sectional championship loss to Angola a season ago in a 52-38 victory over the Hornets Tuesday night.

Garrett is now 5-1 on the season, a d 1-1 on the Northeast Corner Conference. After Tuesday’s loss, Angola is 3-3 on their regular season, and 2-2 in the NECC.

In other area girls basketball action, Wayne defeated Fremont 40-31 Tuesday night.
