Area girls golfers, teams move to IHSAA Regionals

Northridge girls golf team advances to Regional
(MIDDLEBURY) – The host Northridge girls golf team has advanced in the 2024 girls golf tournament, after winning a Sectional title at Meadow Valley Golf Course. The Lady Raiders show 310 and move on to the Regional, along with Carroll (FW) (330) and Concord (408). East Noble finished fourth (412) while Central Noble was seventh (481) and Prairie Heights was eighth (501). East Noble’s Lily Oburn advances as an individual to the Regional with a round of 88. Joining her will be Fairfield’s Isabella Blosser and Mallory McGowen who shot 91 and 96 respectively. Lakeland’s Kabella Watkins carded a 188 while Prairie Heights was led by Kdince Franks with a 108.

Angola, Fremont see golf seasons end at Sectional
(ANGOLA) – The 2024 girls golf season came to an end for the host Angola golf team at the Angola Sectional, held at Zollner Golf Course. Fremont finished fifth (405) and Angola sixth (406) on the day. DeKalb (328), F.W. Concordia (344) and Leo (375) finished first through third respectively and will advance to the Regional meet. Fremont’s Emery Laughlin moves on as an individual to the Regional meet, after finishing third with a score of 86. Brooke Shelburne led Angola with a round of 91.
