(ANGOLA) - The Steuben County business community is kicking off 2026 with food, networking, and a little friendly competition.
The Angola Chamber of Commerce will host a special Business After Hours event, "Heat & Sweet - Meet & Greet," on Thursday, January 22, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at CoWork Steuben, 903 S. Wayne Street.
The event doubles as a meet-and-greet with the Chamber's 2026 Executive Committee and Board of Directors, while putting their culinary skills to the test. Board members will square off in both a chili cook-off and a baked cookies contest, featuring everything from classic red chili to secret family dessert recipes.
Attendees will sample the entries, mingle with local business leaders, and even help decide the winners by serving as judges.
Chamber officials say the event is designed to be relaxed, social, and fun -- a chance to build connections while enjoying good food and good company.
