(WILLIAMS COUNTY) - Two women from Indiana were seriously injured Friday evening in a head-on crash in northwest Ohio.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on U.S. 20. A driver from Waterloo, Indiana, was traveling eastbound when she crossed the center line and collided head-on with a driver from Angola, Indiana.
The crash forced U.S. 20 to close for nearly two hours.
Both drivers suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to the highway patrol. Troopers said both women were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
