(ANGOLA) - Trine University's annual Scholarship Gala raised more than $2.65 million to support student scholarships, according to the university's Office of University Advancement.
University officials said funds were generated through event attendance, donations, sponsorships and auction bidding during the gala, which brings together alumni, families, community members and supporters each year.
All proceeds will go directly toward scholarships, helping students afford a college education while participating in campus organizations, activities and career-building opportunities.
University leaders said the support will allow more students to succeed academically and build lasting connections during their time at Trine.
The Office of University Advancement thanked donors and attendees for their generosity, saying their contributions will have a lasting impact on current and future students.
