(FORT WAYNE) - Fans attending Fort Wayne TinCaps games this season will soon have a new group-seating option at Parkview Field.

The team announced plans Thursday to debut the Appleseed Terrace, a new hospitality space located on the main concourse above the right field wall. The area will feature seating along a drink rail, high-top tables with umbrellas, and an all-you-can-eat buffet that includes gluten-free options. Draft beer and house wine will also be included.

Designed for private outings, the terrace will accommodate a single group of 60 to 100 people per game.

Team officials say the project is being funded through private investment and is scheduled to open June 2, pending final preparations. That night, the TinCaps are set to host the Lake County Captains, a Cleveland Guardians affiliate.

TinCaps Vice President of Group Ticket Sales Brent Harring said the new space responds to growing demand for distinctive group experiences at the downtown ballpark.

Parkview Field is preparing to open its 2026 home schedule April 7 against the Lansing Lugnuts, an affiliate of the Oakland Athletics.

Opening Day tickets are currently on sale.

Information about reserving the Appleseed Terrace for group events is available through the team's website or ticket office.
