(ANGOLA) - The first public walk-through is set for Thursday, April 9, as the Lake James Golf Course property moves toward its April 27th multi-tract auction, opening the longtime course to potential buyers and community members for the first time ahead of the sale.
The property at 1575 West 275 North is being offered as 127 acres in 14 land tracts, plus a separate equipment lot, under a multi-parcel format that allows bidding on individual tracts, combinations of tracts, or the property as a whole.
Thursday's inspection runs from 4 until 6 p.m. at the golf course, giving prospective buyers a chance to view parcels that include former golf holes, scenic elevated building sites, ponds, wooded sections, utility-ready development tracts and parcels with existing sewer or electric access.
Auction materials also include a full equipment lot, featuring 56 2021 EZ-GO electric golf carts, mowers, tractors, sprayers, bunker machines and additional golf course tools and accessories.
Additional public inspections are scheduled for April 11th and April 19th, with the full auction set for 6 p.m. April 27th at the Steuben County Event Center, 100 Lane 101B, Crooked Lake, Angola.
For those who want to review the full tract maps, photos, terms and auction details before Thursday's walk-through, the complete sale listing is available through the Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company website.
