(HOWE) - The LaGrange County Democratic Party has opened a new headquarters in downtown Howe.

The headquarters officially opened Saturday at 203 Defiance Street with supporters, candidates, volunteers and community members gathering for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The office will serve as a gathering place for meetings, campaign events, volunteer training, precinct worker organization and candidate activities during the 2026 election cycle.

Democratic congressional candidate Kelly Thompson and Judy Rowe, Democratic candidate for Indiana State Representative in District 51, cut the ribbon to mark the opening.

The headquarters will provide a permanent home for volunteer activities, campaign organizing and candidate outreach as Democrats prepare for the 2026 elections.

Regular office hours are Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m.

Party leaders invite residents interested in learning more about Democratic candidates, volunteering or becoming involved in local politics to stop by during office hours.
