(SHIPSHEWANA) - The Shipshewana Flea Market will open for a special weekend market Friday, July 31, and Saturday, August 1.
The market will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days with more than 600 vendor spaces across 40 acres.
The weekend is themed as Mother-Daughter Days, but the market is open to everyone. Shoppers will find plants, produce, antiques, jewelry, clothing, handmade goods and other merchandise.
Two shoppers will be selected for door prizes every hour on both days. Food trucks, food courts and other festival-style food options will also be available.
The annual Shipshewana Antique Market will be open Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. inside the Antique and Miscellaneous Barn. It will feature antiques, collectibles, furniture, salvage, signs, glassware, toys, vintage items and jewelry.
A Shipshewana Swap Meet will also be held Saturday with more than 120 vendors in an outdoor market on the Shipshewana Auction grounds.
The special weekend market is in addition to the flea market's regular Tuesday and Wednesday schedule.
