BRANCH COUNTY, Mich. (WLKI)- A Quincy woman was killed early Friday in a two-vehicle crash on Jonesville Road near Ridge Road.
Branch County sheriff's deputies were dispatched at about 5:13 a.m. for a report of a crash involving two vehicles.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a vehicle driven by Janet Murray, 67, of Quincy, collided head-on with an eastbound vehicle driven by Travis Morrow, 51, of Coldwater.
Murray sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Morrow was taken to Insight Health for treatment of minor injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation. The Branch County Sheriff's Office said additional information will be released when appropriate.
Coldwater Public Safety, Life Care Ambulance, the Quincy Fire Department and Branch County Central Dispatch assisted at the scene.
