Faith Roberson and Victoria Casper of the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County are with Andy St. John on WLKI 100.3 to talk about the first annual BARKTOBER FEST, a free, family-friendly event featuring a pet costume contest with celebrity judges, a candy trail, pumpkin patch, face painting, local vendors, food trucks, and live music. They share details about the festivities, opportunities to adopt pets like Tundra, an 11-month-old Husky Terrier mix looking for her forever home, and ways community members can support the shelter through volunteering, donations, and lending a hand with maintenance projects. Learn how you can enjoy a fun-filled afternoon while making a difference in the lives of animals in need.
