The United Way of LaGrange County is kicking off their 2019-2020 campaign season this weekend.

Executive Director Mimi Wismer says they will be holding their 8th Annual Roof
Sit on Saturday at Millers Grocery Store, 420 South Detroit Street. The event will run from 11 AM until 2 PM. Prominent members from the community will be on the roof and will be seeking donations to bring them down.

There will also be door prizes and a 50-50 raffle, and Wismer says they will be
selling ribs, with all the proceeds going to the United Way of LaGrange County.
The organization supports local agencies such as: the Elijah Haven Crisis Center; Habitat For Humanity; Council On Aging; CASA, and the LaGrange County Cub Scouts.

The public is invited to stop by and make a donation and grab something to eat.
