COLDWATER - A man died in what is being called an industrial accident.

Coldwater Acting Director of Public Safety Joe Scheid says the Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to the Real Alloy South Facility, 267 North Fillmore Road just after 11 AM Friday.

They found a 64 year old Coldwater man had been struck by a piece of heavy industrial equipment. They performed CPR but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Michigan Occupational Health And Safety Administration were called in to help with the investigation.
