Thunderstorms finally made it to Michiana around midnight last night.

They packed winds that uprooted trees and brought down power lines. A building in Allen County lost its roof earlier in the evening. In Cass County a large tree blocked a road northwest of Marcellus. In LaGrange County a tree took down power lines and blocked the road at 200 East and 200 South.

200 East was also closed around 2300 North by a tree that took down power lines. It has since reopened. State Road 3 near 300 North in Lagrange County was also closed by a utility issue. It reopened around 4:30 a-m.
