It looks like the K-Mart Store in Marshall has missed the chopping block.

In a statement released Monday, Sears Holding Corporation announced that
eight K-Mart stores around Michigan will be closing. The Marshall Store will remain open, along with one in Waterford Township and one in Warren.
The statement said the decision to close these stores was difficult, but
necessary for the health of the company, which filed for bankruptcy in October 2018.

The Sturgis K-Mart store closed in November 2015. The building is now the
home of TSC and Dunham Sports.
