A former Williams County Sheriff's Deptuty announced his candidacy for Sheriff for the March 2020 Republican Primary election.
After leaving the department after 16 years back in December of 2018, Shaun Fulk announced his candidacy and became the first candidate for sheriff to be certified by the county elections board.

Current sheriff, Steve Towns is filing his paperwork to run as well. Several others have also pulled petitions to run for the position.
