Village officials in Montpelier are looking ahead by reviewing plans for the proposed Iron Horse River Trail. Officials have began forecasting what the trial might look like.

Architectural drawings have been shared with the public that give a preliminary version of what the master plan for the trail might look like. The drawings were developed as part of the village’s participation in the countywide Active Transportation Plan.

Montpelier Village Officials say they’ll soon seek input from village residents on the plan and other developments planned for the village. Money for the proposed Iron Horse River Trail won’t be available until 2023.
