Persistent Rain May Turn To Snow For Monday

Unseasonably warm conditions were seen throughout the tri-state region over the weekend with temperatures reaching highs up into the low 60s in some areas, the start to the work week will usher in much more normal conditions for this time of year.
According to the National Weather Service, persistent rains that fell yesterday will continue throughout the day today will be accompanied by gusty winds but also much cooler temperatures with high temperatures only reaching into the low 40s. The steady rainfall may turn into light snow in some areas throughout the day with more consistent snow expected for Tuesday along with highs only in the low 30s.
Meanwhile, your New Years Day is expected to be more dry with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 30s.
