The snow and icy conditions seen for the last two days will still be seen today, as roadways and travel conditions feel the wrath of the winter weather that ravished the area.
According to the National Weather Service, conditions today will see mostly cloudy skies and highs still only reaching into the mid 20s. Those temperatures are expected to increase by the end of the weekend with highs on Saturday reaching into the low 30s by days' end, and highs in the mid 40s by Sunday.
Snow melt is expected for much of Sunday, but a chance of flooding across the tri-state region may be possible as the chance of rain returns to the forecast Sunday night and into Monday with high temperatures to start the work week getting into the high 40s.
