Steuben County Council is set to return to business coming up next month, with its first meeting since February scheduled for June 9th. Normal meeting days for the Steuben County Council have been on the second Tuesday of the month, but over the past two months there have not been any emergency appropriations or other business needing its attention.
Certain questions remain to be answered from the council on if the meeting will be held live, teleconference, or virtually. Since the initial coronavirus breakout, the Council's Board of Commissioners have met live with only department heads and employees on hand, with public attendance only permitted by teleconference.
The Council's last meeting was held on February 11th.
