Man Arrested in Howe Under Several Charges

On Wednesday deputies with the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint of an
“un-wanted person” on the property at 3280 E. 750 N. Howe, IN.

When deputies arrived, they located a male identified as Joseph Johnson of Centreville, MI on the
property who matched the description of the un-wanted party. Investigation revealed that Johnson had
an outstanding warrant out of Michigan. Deputies also located approximately 40 grams of marijuana
and less than a gram of suspected methamphetamine on Johnson.

Joseph Johnson was arrested and booked into the LaGrange County Jail for:
- Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 6 Felony
- Possession of Marijuana over 30 grams with prior conviction, Level 6 Felony
Johnson is also being held on a Cass County Michigan Warrant.
