Rescue Crews Respond to Two Separate Incidents

BRANCH COUNTY, MI – Four are fire departments were called to a barn this past weekend early Saturday evening.

The Quincy Fire Department was dispatched to a barn fire at 905 Fisher Road just after 4p.m. on Saturday. First units on the scene found a barn fully engulfed in flames.

Quincy received mutual aide from Coldwater, Lakeland and Fremont, Indiana firefighters.

During the barn blaze, Fremont firefighters were also dispatched to assist with a reported injury traffic crash at about 5:00 p.m. at East Copeland and South Fremont Roads.

The Branch County Sheriff’s Department also responded during both the fire and traffic crash, which were completely separate incidents.
