(AUBURN) – A LaGrange man was not injured in a three vehicle accident near Auburn.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 1900 block of State Road 8 just after 8 AM Friday. Deputies determined that 45 year old Toby Morris of Fremont was driving east on State Road 8, and rear ended a second vehicle, driven by 82 year old Barbara Miller of LaOtto, that was stopped in traffic due to construction.

Miller’s vehicle then struck a third vehicle, operated by 49 year old David Gibson of LaGrange.

Miller suffered a compound fracture to her left leg, along with multiple abrasions and scratches. She was taken to an area hospital by Parkview EMS to receive treatment. Morris had a minor injury to his right knee. Gibson was not injured.

The Auburn Police Department along with the Auburn and Garrett Fire Departments assisted at the scene.
