Cameron Memorial Community Hospital is pleased to welcome Teykia Deveaux, MD to the Cameron Pediatrics team. Dr. Deveaux is a board-certified pediatrician focused on the care of infants, children, and adolescents.
Beginning January 21, 2019, she will be seeing patients and Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at her office in the Cameron Medical Office Building at 306 E. Maumee Street, Suite 303, Angola and on Thursdays at her office in Fremont, IN (401 Broad Street, Suite D).
Dr. Deveaux completed her undergraduate degree at Fisk University in Nashville, TN, and her medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington D.C. She completed her residency at the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN where she spent her time serving as the senior resident supervising interns, medical students and physician assistants.
She also spent one year at the Japanese Red Cross DaiIchi Hospital in Nagoya, Japan serving in the Pediatric oncology department. Dr. Deveaux is comes to Angola from Nassau, Bahamas where she served as a pediatrician with Precious Posterity Pediatrics, and she previously served as a pediatrician at Jane Pauley Community Health Center in Indianapolis, IN for two years.
