Authorities say an alleged car thief has been arrested in Indianapolis.

Coldwater Director Of Public Safety Mark Bartell says his department has been contacted and informed that 38 year old Andrew Hamlin was arrested in Indianapolis on Sunday and is being held in the Marion County, Indiana Jail.

Felony arrest warrants were issued for Hamlin last week regarding multiple stolen vehicles. At that time, his last known address was an apartment in the 500 block of Riverside Drive, but he was also known to frequent Union City, Battle Creek and Fremont, Indiana.
