LAGRANGE COUNTY, IN - Late Thursday night the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call from authorities in Michigan to be on the lookout for a vehicle that had been involved in a hit and run accident in St. Joseph County, Michigan.
The vehicle was located on County Road 550 W in LaGrange County. A short vehicular pursuit ensued, culminating in the arrest of Lavon Lynn Lambright, of Shipshewana.
Lambright was arrested and booked into the LaGrange County Jail. He was charged with Operating While Intoxicated, Resisting Law Enforcement with a Vehicle and Operating a Vehicle Without Ever Receiving a License.
