Topeka teen hurt in one vehicle crash

EDEN TOWNSHIP - A one car crash northwest of Topeka injured a teenager Friday afternoon.

17-year-old Jay Yoder of Topeka was driving east on County Road 400 South when he lost control on the gravel paved road and struck a tree. LaGrange County medics transported Yoder to Parkview LaGrange Hospital for treatment of leg and knee pain.

Sheriff’s deputies cited Yoder for unsafe speed and a learner’s permit violation.

The crash happened at 5:43 p-m.
