Trine Offers Easy Transfer for former Harrison College Students
Tuesday Sep 18, 2018 4:43am
Angola, IN

In the wake of Harrison College's announcement last week that it is ceasing operations, Trine University will provide easy transfer options for Harrison students, as well as the opportunity to start Trine classes as early as Oct. 22.

Trine will transfer up to 89 semester credits from Harrison College or any accredited college or university, with no expiration date on transfer credits and credit offered for lifelong learning. Students who were in associate's degree programs at Harrison will have the opportunity to complete one of Trine's associate's degree programs, with the option of continuing on to earn a bachelor's degree.

Trine University also will work with Harrison College students who were in technical programs such as veterinary technology or respiratory care to help them earn a customized applied management degree.

After students submit their free application to Trine, they are assigned a personal admission counselor to guide them through the process of continuing their education. The university also will request transcripts from other institutions at no cost to incoming students.

With eight education centers located throughout Indiana and southern Michigan - including locations in Angola, Fort Wayne, South Bend and Indianapolis - Trine offers students the opportunity to complete their degree in the method most convenient to them, offering eight-week accelerated courses in seated, online and hybrid formats.

Classes for the next term in Trine's College of Graduate and Professional Studies begin Oct. 22, allowing Harrison College students to continue their education without losing time.

Financial aid programs are available to qualifying students.
