(ASHLEY) - The Ashley-Hudson Volunteer Fire Department is mourning the loss of one of its firefighters.
The department announced Thursday that Engineer Thomas O'Quinn has passed away.
In a statement, the department said O'Quinn was like family and will be remembered for his dedication to the department and the community.
The department also asked community members to keep firefighters, as well as O'Quinn's family and friends, in their thoughts and prayers.
